How do I order a specific width?

We can custom-cut the awning width to 1-inch increments. For pricing and ordering purposes, simply select the next largest size and indicate the exact width measurement in the “Comments Section” during the checkout process. Once an order is received, CheapAwnings will make the necessary arrangements for your custom order.

All CheapAwnings products are custom-made based upon specific and unique selections. As a result, CheapAwnings does not offer product returns or refunds after the initial 3-day Cancellation Period. Only defective or damaged units will be exchanged. (See Limits of Liability) Please verify that your selections are correct, and your measurements and options are accurate before and when placing an order.

Do you provide installation services?

We are an Internet e-commerce site and do not offer installation services. If installation assistance is required, we recommend contacting a local contractor or local handyman for assistance. All the products posted online are high quality, do-it-yourself, quick and easy assembly and installation.

What is the Cancellation Policy and Return Policy?

We have a 3-day (72-hour) Cancellation Policy. All cancellation requests must be made by the customer within 3-days (72-hours) of placing an order. All CheapAwnings.com products are custom-made based upon specific and unique selections. Cancellations must be authorized in advance. Please contact us for assistance.

As a result, CheapAwnings does not offer product returns or refunds after the initial 3-day (72-hour) Cancellation Period. Please verify that your selections are correct, and your measurements and options are accurate before and when placing an order. Damages due to misuse, carelessness or incorrect installation are NOT covered.

NOTE: Only defective units or units damaged caused during freight will be exchanged. Damaged freight (i.e. crushed or torn boxes, broken or torn awning materials) must be documented with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Failure to report freight damage to the freight carrier at the time of delivery will eliminate the possibility of customer reimbursement for freight damaged products.

Do you sell awning or umbrella parts and accessories?

Our products are unique and all awning and umbrella products posted online are sold as complete sets. Not all awning frames, awning or umbrella top covers, and umbrella bottom poles are manufactured the same. We only offer awning and umbrella parts and accessories for units purchased through CheapAwnings.com. If you require replacement parts for other name brand awnings and umbrellas, we recommend contacting the original manufacturer of the umbrella or a local awning manufacturer for assistance.

Can I order custom Bubble Dome awning colors or sizes?

The BUBBLE Dome Awnings are fabricated from preset templates and are available in five (5) Sunbrella® fabric colors and three specific sizes, which allow us to offer these units at competitive prices. If you require a custom size, color and/or valance-cut pattern, we recommend our Symmetrical Dome Awnings.

Are fabric and metal samples available?

Fabric and metal samples are available on a limited basis. Please email sales@cheapawnings.com with a list of sample name and/or numbers (limit 6) along with a mailing address. All color samples will be sent via U.S. Mail while supplies last. Note: Due to varying configurations of computers, monitors and/or video graphics cards, we recommend requesting color samples.

Do you use Sunbrella® fabric?

We use 9.25 ounce Sunbrella® Awning Grade Fabric on all canvas products posted throughout CheapAwnings.com. Sunbrella® is a registered trademark of Glen Raven, Inc. Sunbrella® Awning Grade fabrics are water repellent, fade resistant, solution dyed, acrylic woven material which carries a limited five (5) year manufacture warranty.

The Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation is awarded to Sunbrella® Awnings, Canopies, and Umbrellas with Sun Protective Performance Fabrics UPF 50+.

Is Sunbrella® fabric water-proof or fire-proof?

The Sunbrella® Awning Grade fabric covers are water-repellent (not waterproof) and not flame-retardant.

Is price different for solid vs. stripe patterns?

NO. There is no price difference for solid or striped patterned canvas or metal awnings. We offer over (148) Sunbrella® Awning Grade fabric colors (solids and stripes) and thirteen (13) metal awning colors and fifteen (15) bahama shutter colors.

Can graphics be applied to the covers?

Graphic applications of logos and lettering are only available for the umbrella product lines. Custom graphics are additional costs and prices vary depending upon the complexity of the artwork. Please contact our Sales Department for details.

Are your awnings suitable for snow?

Only CheapAwnings stationary metal awnings are suitable for snow-loads up to 50lbs. per square foot. Please read the FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS of each awning or canopy for details.

Can the awnings withstand wind-loads?

The Euro Hurricane Shutters carry a Category One 90MPH wind load rating. The Dome Awnings carry a 75MPH wind load rating.  All other standard canvas awnings, metal awnings, spear awnings, canopies and umbrellas do NOT carry wind-load ratings. Please read the FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS of each awning or canopy for details.

YES. Assembly instructions will be shipped along with your order. Assembly instructions are also available on-line at CheapAwnings.com.

Most CheapAwnings.com products are quick and easy, do-it-yourself assemble and install units. Units are shipped partially or fully assembled with all necessary hardware. See the FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS for details. Required installation tools and wall anchor bolts are not included with frame kits (i.e. extra mounting pieces, drill, drill bits, screw drivers, measuring equipment, etc.).

Can the awnings mount to vinyl siding or brick surfaces?

YES. All units are delivered with standard wood mounting screws and mounting plates/pieces designed for multiple types of hardware. If you require mounting hardware for other types of wall surfaces (such as vinyl siding, brick, stucco, etc.), we recommend consulting with a local hardware representative for assistance.

Can the awnings be removed?

YES. The stationary and retractable awnings posted online are designed to be easily removed and stored incase of extreme weather conditions, and then remounted at a later time. Dismantle time depends upon the overall awning style, size and quantity.

Can you customize the awnings, canopies or umbrellas?

Some units may be customized to meet specific requirements. Canvas awnings are available up to 10-feet wide and all metal awnings are available up to 20-feet wide.

Awnings, canopies and shutters can be custom-cut to 1-inch increments. For pricing and ordering purposes, simply select the next largest size and indicate the exact width measurement in the “Comments Section” during the checkout process.

Umbrellas can be custom designed with alternating fabric color panels and/or graphic applications. Please contact our Sales Department for more details.
