  • All CheapAwnings products are custom-made based upon specific and unique selections. As a result, CheapAwnings does NOT offer product returns or refunds after the initial 72-hour time of order placement.
  • Awning measurements, accuracy and installation is the customer's responsibility.
  • Only defective unit(s) damaged during freight shipment will be exchanged.  Please verify that your selections are correct, and your measurements and options are accurate before and when placing an order.
  • SHIPPING CHARGES will be required for all Shady Canopy Products and for all orders delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories of Guam and Puerto Rico and all other International locations.  Please call for additional shipping charges.
  • Damaged freight (i.e. crushed or torn boxes, broken or torn awning materials) must be documented with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Failure to report damaged packages to the freight carrier at the time of delivery will eliminate the possibility of customer reimbursement for products damaged during freight.
  • Damaged packages or defective products must be reported to CheapAwnings immediately and prior to returning.
  • All CheapAwnings.com canvas and metal awnings do NOT carry Wind-Load ratings.
  • Damages caused by extreme weather (wind, rain, snow, etc.), acts of nature (earthquake, flood, tornado, etc.), misuse or negligence are NOT covered by the warranty and are the customer's responsibility.
  • Only CheapAwnings.com stationary metal awnings are suitable for snow-loads up to 50lbs. per square foot.
  • All products showcased online are manufactured to CheapAwnings' standard practices; we reserve the right to substitute some component parts.
  • All drop height and projection measurements are approximate.
  • Fabric or metal color selection is the customer's responsibility. Swatch samples are available; please call or email for details.
  • Valance binding trim and thread will be standard complimenting colors.
  • Fabric seams joining fabric panels are sewn in a vertical orientation.
  • Frame members are painted and color selection is determined by CheapAwnings.  Some frame parts and hardware may not be painted.
  • Shady Canopy frames are not painted (galvanized finish only).

    We are an Internet e-commerce site and do not have local representation for field measuring, onsite visits and installations. All products are showcased online.

    Do you offer price quotes?

    YES. To receive a free price quote, please complete the     Custom Quote form or send an email to sales@cheapawnings.com. Provide the following info in your email:

  • What Awning Style(s) do you require? (i.e. Elite, Valiant, Dome, etc.)
  • Do you require a Canvas or Metal awning?
  • Do you require Side Panels?
  • Do you require a Stationary or Retractable awning?
  • Will the awning be covering a door, window, patio, etc.?
  • If a window, will you be mounting to the window frame or to the wall?
  • If a window, what is the window's Height dimension?
  • If a window, what is the window's Width dimension?
  • If a door, does the door or screen open Inwards or Outwards?
  • If a door, what is the required Width dimension?

    How do I order a specific width?

    We can custom-cut the awning width to 1-inch increments. For pricing and ordering purposes, simply select the next largest size and indicate the exact width measurement in the “Comments Section” during the checkout process. Once an order is received, our staff will make the necessary arrangements for your custom order.

    All CheapAwnings products are custom-made based upon specific and unique selections. As a result, CheapAwnings does not offer product returns or refunds after the initial 3-day Cancellation Period. Only defective or damaged units will be exchanged. (See     Limits of Liability) Please verify that your selections are correct, and your measurements and options are accurate before and when placing an order.

    Do you provide installation services?

    We are an Internet e-commerce site and do not offer installation services. If installation assistance is required, we recommend contacting a local contractor or local handyman for assistance. All the products posted online are high quality, do-it-yourself, quick and easy assembly and installation.

    Do you sell awning or umbrella parts and accessories?

    All products posted on CheapAwnings.com are sold as complete sets.  We only offer awning and umbrella parts and accessories for units purchased through CheapAwnings.com.

    Not all awning frames, awning or umbrella top covers and umbrella bottom poles are manufactured the same.

    Can I order custom BUBBLE Dome and VISOR Awning colors or sizes?

    The BUBBLE Dome and VISOR Awnings are fabricated from preset templates and are only available in five (5) Sunbrella® fabric colors and three specific sizes, which allow us to offer these units at competitive prices.

    Are fabric and metal samples available?

    YES. Fabric and metal samples are available on a limited basis. Please email     sales@cheapawnings.com with a list of sample name and/or numbers (please limitto 6) along with a mailing address. All color samples will be sent via U.S. Mail while supplies last. NOTE: Due to varying configurations of computers, monitors and/or video graphics cards, we recommend requesting color samples.

    Do you use Sunbrella® fabric?

    YES. We use Sunbrella® Awning Grade fabric on most products posted throughout CheapAwnings.com and carries a limited five (5) year manufacture warranty. The     Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation is awarded to Sunbrella® Awnings, Canopies and Umbrellas with Sun Protective Performance Fabrics UPF 50+. Sunbrella® is a registered trademark of Glen Raven, Inc.

    Is Sunbrella® fabric water-proof or fire-proof?

    The Sunbrella® Awning Grade fabric covers are water-repellent (not waterproof) and not flame-retardant. Sunbrella® Awning Grade fabrics are made of 9.25 ounce fade-resistant, solution-dyed, woven-acrylic material which carries a limited five (5) year manufacture warranty.

    Are your awnings and canopies suitable for Snow Loads?

    Only the stationary     metal awnings are suitable for snow-loads up to 50lbs. per square foot. Please read the FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS of each awning or canopy for details.

    Can the awnings withstand Wind Loads?

    The Euro     Hurricane Shutters carry a Category One Hurricane (90MPH) wind load rating. The BUBBLE Dome Awnings and VISOR Awnings carry a 75MPH wind load rating.  All other standard canvas awnings, metal awnings, spear awnings, canopies and umbrellas do NOT carry wind-load ratings. Please read the FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS of each awning or canopy for details.

    Do you have measuring and ordering instructions?

    Do you have assembly and installation instructions?

    YES. Assembly instructions will be shipped along with your order.

    Most CheapAwnings.com products are designed for do-it-yourself easy assembly and installation. Units are shipped partially assembled with all necessary assembly hardware.  Required installation tools, mounting and wall anchor hardware are not included with frame kits (i.e. mounting bolts and anchors, drill, drill bits, screw drivers, measuring equipment, etc.).  We recommend consulting with a local contractor, handyman or hardware store representative for the best wall mounting solutions.

     Can the awnings mount to vinyl siding or brick surfaces?

    YES. All units are delivered with standard wood mounting screws and mounting plates/pieces designed for multiple types of hardware. If you require mounting hardware for other types of wall surfaces (such as vinyl siding, brick, stucco, etc.), we recommend consulting with a local hardware representative for assistance.

    Can the awnings be removed?

    YES. The stationary and retractable awnings posted online are designed to be easily removed and stored incase of extreme weather conditions, and then remounted at a later time. Dismantle time depends upon the overall awning style, size and quantity.

    Can the awnings, canopies or umbrellas be customized?

    Each CheapAwnings.com product may be customized to a certain degree. Please read the FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS of each unit for details and/or contact our Sales Department for details.

    Can graphics be applied to the covers?

    Graphic applications of logos and lettering are only available for the umbrella product lines. Custom graphics are additional costs and prices vary depending upon the complexity of the artwork. Please contact our Sales Department for details.

    What credit cards do you accept?

    How will my order be shipped?

    ALL products on CheapAwnings.com will be shipped for FREE to any of the 48 contiguous United States via Ground Delivery or Common Carrier Freight Services. Type of delivery is determined by the size and quantity of your order. Typically, items over eight-foot long will be shipped via Common Carrier and may require a fork-lift. Special shipping arrangements and additional costs will be required for all Shady Canopy products and deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and all International locations.

    How long will my order take to arrive?

    Estimated delivery times will vary for each order depending on the quantity, size(s) and type(s) of awning or canopy. Most products on CheapAwnings.com will be delivered within 3 to 4 weeks, while a few units require 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. See the Availability note for estimated delivery time frames. Oversized units delivered via common freight carriers and deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and all International locations will take longer; please contact us for details.

    Can I pick-up my order by will-call?

    What if my shipment arrives damaged or defective?

    All products of CheapAwnings.com are shipped FOB Origin. FOB (Free-On-Board) Origin means that CheapAwnings.com pays all freight charges, the Buyer owns the goods while in transit, and the Buyer files any damage claims. Title passes to the Buyer at the moment the goods are transferred from the manufacturer to the carrier. The Buyer must file any claim (as the owner of freight) for any damaged incurred en route to the destination.

    BEFORE signing for any shipment documents, customers are advised to inspect all packages received, and to report ANY product or package damage immediately to the freight company. Please be sure to note damages on the delivery paperwork and contact CheapAwnings.com as soon as possible. Orders with damaged or defective merchandise must be reported to CheapAwnings.com within 7-days of the delivery date of your order.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Damaged freight (i.e. crushed or torn boxes, broken or torn materials) must be documented with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Failure to report freight damage to the freight carrier at the time of delivery will eliminate the possibility of customer reimbursement for freight damaged products.

    If a product supplied by CheapAwnings.com is found to contain a manufacturing defect, CheapAwnings.com will replace only the product found to be defective. Because all CheapAwnings.com products are custom made, we do not offer product returns, exchanges or refunds. See     Limits of Liability page.

    What Is Your Warranty/Guarantee Policy?

    CheapAwnings.com is a division of Eide Industries, Inc. All CheapAwnings.com products are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Please see the FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS for warranty time frames. Most CheapAwnings.com products have a Limited Warranty. Please contact us for assistance with warranty issues for products you purchased through our company. Warranty claims will be reviewed on a pro-rated case-by-case basis.     Do you have a Fraud Policy?

    YES. We have a "Pre-Pay" policy to protect ourselves from fraudulent orders. Your credit card will be charged 24-72 hours after you place your order. For your protection, and ours, orders with different SHIP TO and BILL TO addresses may require special verification via phone. Purchases made with stolen credit card information will be reported to the local law enforcement agencies, and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
